Hello Guys, Today i'll show you how you can install ConfigServer Security & Firewall aka CSF on Your cPanel/WHM Server.

So First, Login to your Server's SSH or WHM >> Terminal.

then run these commands one by one : 

 

cd /usr/local/src/
wget https://download.configserver.com/csf.tgz
tar -xzf csf.tgz
cd csf 
sh install.sh

If the output shows Installation Completed then run these commands :

cd ..
rm -Rfv csf/ csf.tgz

 

Now CSF is Installed on your server and we have to enable it so Go to WHM >> ConfigServer Security & Firewall.

 

Now, Click on Firewall Configuration in csf - ConfigServer Firewall section.

 

Set TESTING = OFF

RESTRICT_SYSLOG = 3

 

and then go to the end of the page ( footer of the page ) , you'll see a button Change . click on the Change button.

 

Then You'll see this :

Changes saved. You should restart both csf and lfd.
Restart csf+ltd

 

Click on the Restart csf+ltd button.

 

Now, ConfigServer Firewall is enabled and everything is done. If you want to do custom configuration then you can do via Firewall Configuration Option.
